The March real estate market stats for Kootenai County are out and here’s our take on it

Hey everyone, it’s Adriana Pickard here in Beautiful Coeur d’Alene and I wanted to bring you a quick market update.

The stats for March are out and here we are in April, so I just wanted to give you a quick update on that.

So, year-over-year, we are actually down almost 6% year-over-year. Our average days on market? Those have bumped up. We-ve seen quite the shift since December of last year. And just to put that in perspective, December, year-over-year, where we were standing, we were almost 15% up in equity, year-over-year. We’re now down 6%, so it’s amazing how our market’s settling down just a little bit —it’s not crashing by any stretch of the imagination, but it certainly has shifted.

And for those of you who live locally here in Coeur d’Alene, I wanted to bring you guys one of our very favorite restaurants that we’ve just discovered —izzy’s Comfort Kitchen. It’s on 4th Street. Get the chicken dinner —the fried chicken is amazing. There’s a link below that’ll take you right to their website. You can always set a reservation or take a peek at their menu.

Another thing that I thought would be really fun is to share with you guys a couple of cool events that are coming up. I’m gonna share with you one a month. So the one that I wanted to share with you here in April takes place in May —May 13th, it’s over the weekend but it’s going to be a really cool thing at the Post Falls speedway where they send off into the sky thousands of lanterns. It’s super cool; it’s gonna be taking place just after sunset on May 13th, so, check the link below. You can also get tickets down below as well.

If you guys have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
