Kootenai Real Estate Market: Here's a quick recap of what we saw in May.

Hey guys, it’s Adriana Pickard up here in Coeur d’Alene. And I wanted to give you the market stats for May. Now that it’s June, no stats have come out and I just wanted to give you a brief recap. 

So year-over-year, home values are down 7.4% year-over-year. This is a stark contrast from the last two years. Just to give you a quick idea of what we’ve seen here in the last couple of years, from May 2020 to 2021, we saw an increase of 36% year-over-year. The following year, 2021 to 2022, we saw a 24% increase. So we’re just saying our market is leveling off. We certainly can’t keep going up like that year-over-year. So we’re just seeing a little bit of a shift. Average days on market —those are up 40%. And the actual homes sold? Those are down 29%

You can do pontoon boat, which is practically a living room on the water —which is awesome! You can do a sport boat, so that you guys can do some fun skiing behind.
